Rye Bay Fish, where you can buy freshly caught fish.

If you are a keen bird watcher, RyeView is only a stone's throw away from Rye Habour Nature Reserve, with its observation hides at Castle Water. If you prefer a beach walk, why not walk along the seashore, past the old lifeboat house, to Winchelseas. Camber Sands with it's miles of sandy beaches, picturesque dunes, is only 10 minutes drive away and is a great place to
try your hand at kite surfing or just watch those if you'd prefer.


Visitors to the area are spoilt for choice when it comes to places to go; no matter whether your interest is in gardens, castles and their history or just wandering back in time, the list is endless. Picturesque Bodiam Castle is famous for it's reenactments, great for children as they can dress up; while Dover Castle, Deal Castle, and Walmer Castle offer a wealth of historic interest.
